What Have We Done So Far

Founded in January 1998 as a high-technology startup in Silicon Valley, California, UNIQA has developed Linux-based software and Internet services for the Internet appliance market. Prior to that, Imran Sharif, founder of UNIQA, completed several appliance development projects with three major consumer electronics companies in Japan. This resulted in establishing UNIQA K.K. in December 1997, the Japanese counterpart of UNIQA Inc.

What is Our Core Competency

We have two businesses. First, UNIQA is dedicated in developing and marketing Linux-based state-of-the-art Internet appliance software and Internet service offerings based on UNIQA's appliance Edenbox™. These products provide a hassle-free approach to accessing the Internet for specific purposes. Second, Uniqa is committed in providing software development and consulting services to our valued customers. UNIQA's Jarwa™ development project delivers to you your own customized, final software product based on your specific needs and requirements, whether it be from an exact specification, or a design or just your idea.
