Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for developing and delivering world-class software products
• Lead, manage and coordinate a team of 40-50 software engineers
• Overall responsibility to plan, design, code, integrate, and test software. Adherence to software quality standards for all related software programs is a must.
• Create/supervise team to create high level designs and detailed designs with design patterns, software requirements specification and architecture
• Responsible to plan, monitor and review (PMR) engineering projects and ensure effective allocation of resources
• Create, understand and analyze modular and textual level architecture for server and desktop application software
• Ensure development of production-level code and comply with related coding convention
• Maintain and regularly improve Software process and quality intensive infrastructure within the organization
• Support project teams with regard to process planning and execution, quality assurance and configuration management. Responsibilities include creation and maintenance of project process documentation; design, implementation, and execution of system level test suites; set-up and operation of project configuration management system
• Contribute to SW process mentoring and training of the project teams
• Manage delivery of multiple software development projects concurrently

Required Skills

• Must be a team player, with high ethical standards including respect of values and people. UNIQA considers this the first and foremost required skill.
• Proven track record with a minimum of 10 years of software development related experience, at least 5 in managing software teams of 30+ Engineers
• Extensive knowledge of C and/or C++, DOTNET and Java; object-oriented design languages especially UML
• Extensive knowledge of Linux and/or Unix OS
• Extensive knowledge of Internet related protocols, technologies, services, and server based software development
• Ability to interface with sales, marketing employees and customers alike to develop and review requirements and plans.
• Clear understanding of Software Quality Assurance process
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in software development, verification, and standards necessary to meet CMMI requirements highly desirable
• Disciplined, focused, energetic and self-motivated
• Flexible and able to mentor and train others
• Proactive leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in spoken English is a strong plus.

Educational Requirements
BSc or MSc (Engr), preferably in CSE

Experience Requirements
5 - 8 years in managing a team of 30+ Engineers

Salary Range
US$ 2,000 to US$ 4,000 per month plus negotiable benefits.
